Unpullable trigger dream

Ok, a while ago one of you guys mentioned having a dream where you had to use your gun, and the trigger was too heavy to be pulled. I thought it was weird, and then a few other people chimed in that they'd had the same dream. Well, I had it last night (not fun), so I was curious if it was just one of those fears we have, or if it was because I'd read it somewhere else.

i have em. it scares the living hell out of me. sometimes the gun turns into something stupid like a beer or pez dispenser. no joke.

ill find myself loading pez's in teh dispenser when i should be filling a mag

I bet mr freud would say that the trigger dream is a subconscious thought that you feel you are inadiquate enough to properly defend yourself.

Either that... or your subconscious is telling you that you definately DO NOT want to injure/kill someone even if they are bad.

How many soldiers go into battle expecting/hoping to kill someone and once they do they change and become scarred for life.

I've also had the dream where I'm in a fist fight and my hand/ arm weighs like 1000 lbs and I can't swing...

I rarely have dreams where I am shooting someone but whenever I do I have the unpullable trigger, it's been that way as long as I can remember. The only exception was when my life long best friend absolutely betrayed me and my family's trust bad. It resulted in me telling him he was no longer welcome in my home and that he had better never darken my door step again. It was not long after that I started having dreams about him and the trigger seemed to work just fine in those dreams. I always figured that the trigger never worked because deep down inside you really do not want to kill people, just my thoughts on it.

Yeah I have it every time I buy a gun and don't take it to the range. I also have the dream of not being able to hit the target.Crazy thing is every time I kill someone in a dream, it's someone I would never kill in real life.. lol this is crazy i didn't know it was a common dream.

I've never had an unpullable trigger but Point of Impact is way off or the rounds have no effect whatsoever most of the time I shoot in my dreams. Whatever gun it is usually malfs too.

my problem's not the trigger pull. the problem is the bullets comming out of the gun are ineffective at stopping the bad guy. I can shoot the bad guy a million times and he keeps comming until I get trapped and then really weird things happen.

i had this type of dream last week. some guy was attacking me and my family, and the gun wouldn't shoot, so i ended up stabbing him...
