No special forces as far as I know, but a pilot. Which is equally cool in my opinion.

I actually like that he is so long winded. Gives a lot more detail then any reviewer I've ever come across. Sure he repeats himself some, but I can get over that. He borrows a lot of guns but has a decent selection of his own. AR, Glock, Sig 226, Winchester 1300, a couple 10/22s, and newest an Arsenal SGL21. He's pro CA as well.

Been a fan for a while now.

I like his videos. The only thing for me is that my home wifi conection is slow so it takes forever to get a 20-30 minute video loaded.

Regardless of his background he has great topics/reviews.

And for all we know, in his 19+ years of service, he may have been in the Air Force special forces.
The Air Force does not have Special Forces. The title of Special Forces is only bestowed upon the Green Berets and those who finish the Q course. Everyone else from SEALs to Rangers is Special Operations. This guy is neither Special Forces nor Special Operations.

One of my very good friends is a pilot in the USAF. He's brilliant, but in the course of his career he's fired the M9 to qualify on a 7 yard range. Once. Pilots are great in planes, but get no training in small arms and force on force.

I like all of his videos except the stuff about Keltec. The stuff he says about Keltec is total bs. I want a backup pistol that I can readily use not one I cannot regularly take to the range. On that one he seemed like he was endorsed by Keltec or something......

I'm not a hater of the guy but I'm no worshipper either. Some of his info is good, some not so much. He is long winded but I will watch his videos. Most of the time I just shrug afterwards and think nothing new. I do like some of his reviews though.

I watch a number of his reviews just to hear his take on certain products or gear if I'm considering buying something. I don't base my decision on his reviews, but I do take some of it into consideration if he brings up any good points.

Could be, but as I said most of his stuff is good. The one about Keltec I really didn't like.

In the end I don't base my decisions on his reviews/opinions.

Most of his videos are pretty long winded, and a good amount of the info I can find just looking on the manufacturers websites. Also, some of the reviews seem kind of odd given that he talks about how the gun is, but then says he hasn't shot it. Seems like trying to review a car without having driven it.

That being said, he does have some good info out there. I just wish he would talk less about specs I can find online.

So you're saying what he says about Kel-tec is BS? Since you didn't mention something specific do you mean everything? He demonstrates his points and most what he says is fact or opinion based on personal experience. There is nothing there to refute.

Air Force Special Operatives train and go on missions daily with SEAL's, Rangers, Green Berets, you name it. They fight side by side until the mission is accomplished and they return to base. You are playing semantics if you don't include Rangers, Delta, SEAL's, or Air Force Special Ops in your definition. By all accounts they do similar work. The Air Force under the broad definition recognized by the world absolutely has special forces (Special Operations Forces).

And you don't have to take my word for it. The information is found all over the place, from books, TV, movies, and the internet.

This is from Wikipedia: Similar in ability and employment to Army Special Forces and Navy Sea-Air-Land forces (SEALs), Air Force Special Tactics personnel are typically the first to enter combat and often find themselves deep behind enemy lines in demanding, austere conditions, usually with little or no support. Due to the rigors of the job, Special Tactics yearlong training is one of the most demanding in the military, with attrition rates near 80 to 90 percent.

So yes, in the narrow and technical definition you provide, they are not Special Forces. Only the Green Beret's are. But to the rest of the world, they are Special Forces. People say Kleenex and Xerox instead of tissue and copy. But EVERYONE uses the terms interchangeably except those at Kleenex and Xerox. You are fighting a losing battle.

And I know MANY Air Force and Navy pilots that are incredible shooters and are more familiar with weapons and tactics than I will every be. They shoot and train regularly. Just because you know one that doesn't, don't label the rest as being the same. That's a broad brush. The training is there if they seek it out. Your friend did not. When I was in the Navy, many sailors never set foot on the range. But most of us did to earn our ribbons. Even though most wound up as surface warfare or submariners, many were damn good with small arms. We know nothing about Nutnfancy's military training. One thing is for sure, he knows a h*ll of a lot more than I ever will. I'll bet he knows more than 95% of the population ever will.

like he says in his videos "if you think you can do better, you post videos." i agree with that statement so i don't critisize his work. he is long winded but it is bearable. more pros than cons IMO.
