The only thing that seems to bother me is that people seem to be loaning him firearms to review. Does he have any off his own?

The info's good but he's a little long winded.I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!Comment

Love him, super detailed, tells it like it is, doesn't fluff you around. He owns a lot of stuff lol... I love the people who talk ish about him.
Why would that even matter... if you're a reviewer are you going to buy everything you want to review? Gimmie a flipping break man...Last edited by aermotor; 02-27-2010, 1:38 PM.Comment

Nutnfancy is the man. Check these, see what you think:
Dude has it right. His reviews are full of info, and he has a sense of humor and is interesting.
He is a Lt. Colonel in the USAF, and reserve LEO. He has said as much, and posted pictures.
How many men with his experience and background are willing to share their knowledge and experience with everyone - for free.
He is a good American and I'm glad there are people like him out there.Comment

I like his get-together-and-shoot-n-train videos. They're well edited, look good and somewhat informative while a ton of YouTube gun-related stuff has much poorer quality. At least he's out there shooting and sharing his knowledge and I respect the guy for that.Comment

It matters to me if someone tells me- "I am a Sig guy. Sig is my lead weapon!" Ok and how many Sigs do you own? None? That shakes my confidence a little.
I am not bagging on the guy, but it seems like his weapons are always loaned to him. I hope he has stock in something.Comment

With respect to any military experience he may have...
I agree with some that he is a little 'cool guy' and 'mall ninja'-centric, and I have a hard time taking him seriously after some of the silly stuff he does, including a vid where he is bleeding freely from a cut on his hand. Some of the comments suggest he got careless or overzealous in firearms handling and got caught in a slide or cocking handle, but it would show a lot of professionalism to stop tape for a few seconds and throw a bandage on yourself.Comment

A Lt. Colonel in the USAF and a Reserve LEO probably has about as much to do with Special Forces as a fry cook at Burger King does with Wolfgang Puck. One is the tip of the spear, and the other is the shaft.
I totally agree with you on the second point. For Sale: Off Roster Handgun Moving Sale
For Sale: Off Roster CZ, Browning, PTR 91 Moving Sale

the cut on his thumb was from a earlier video he did with a knife. he sliced himself there when doing something. With respect to any military experience he may have...

never saw it bleeding freely as you say, but it was scabbed up with dried blood on it. probably took the bandage off so he can shoot properly. especially with where the cut was. and as he said, you train how you might fight. and one day you may have to fight with wounded hands.
as for the mall-ninja that people keep saying he is. he trains as he may fight, and since he is current military, why not upkeep training with the gear he may and will wear if he gets sent out? most of the time he goes out to shoot, it looks like he is doing run-n-gun and isn't that something that you would want to wear vests and such gear? if not then why do those who attend magpul classes dress up as "mall-ninjas" then.

Actually for me, that would strengthen the credibility of his reviews. We all know how we all tend to be biased toward the guns we own.It matters to me if someone tells me- "I am a Sig guy. Sig is my lead weapon!" Ok and how many Sigs do you own? None? That shakes my confidence a little.
