Annual Calguns Shoot

How about an annual calguns shoot held in different locations every year.

I drive to LA (400 mi) to shoot at Burro in the private lanes and I sure wouldn't mind the drive wether it is in SoCal Central Cal or Norcal.

We can even get the vendors out there with us, it would be like our own little gun show. We have enough members on here that we can get this to be a huge event.

What ya'all think?

Anywhere would be great! Who woudn't mind to drive a distance just once a year! This can actually be a win, win situation for everyone! Sponsers and all kinds of stuff.

Anybody in here has any experience organizing events like this?

mayby some of the Moderators can get involved. I'm sure they have established relationships with the vendors. Someone must know someone that works at a range. I can help with any administration things.

You'll need a range that's big enough to handle an event like this and will allow it to be held there. Not sure how big Coalinga range is but it would be more central if NorCal-SoCal shooters wanted to get together.

Coalinga is somewhat central. Cut across from 101 on 198 east or from the
I-5 head west to Coalinga.

Never been to the range out there.

Whats on top the grapevine?

Of course, Taft fairly central, must be somebody around there that sells ammo and stuff.

It is a long way to drive without staying the night.

It's hard being in Santa Barbara. Too far to go to either So Cal or Nor Cal .

Yeah, but you have a great range. The Winchester range or that open range in the mountians above the city. Great view on a sunnt day

Sounds like a fun idea, but I don't know what kind of turnout we'd get. That's a lot of people to try wrangling up.
