    Ugh. Seriously California.

Seriously. Screw you. All I want is an inexpensive compact revolver that is still good quality. Apparently there are no good used revolvers in this state. Colt, S&W, Ruger, all of them have nice compact pocket revolvers...that aren't on the list. The roster needs to die. Thank you, and have a pleasant tomorrow.

Just so we're clear, I'm talking about used $300ish pistols. I don't want to pay $500 and have it shipped to me and have to pay a ridiculous amount for a transfer fee.

I feel your pain. The only advice I can give ( which I am sure you have already thought of) is to post a WTB add on multiple boards for the gun your looking for and hope a LEO or previous owner has one and is willing to sell it. Good luck on your search.

I feel your pain. Watch the sales forum here like a hawk. It's the best you can do.

Thankfully if you find them used in CA the Roster actually doesn't apply to PPT's so..... keep looking!

I bought a new S&W 642 for $375 two weeks ago from a gunshop. It will come around.

Your only options are: Move out of CA, protest the roster or deal with it.

Maybe, I guess we are lucky that we can still have some guns.

Find a good FFL that only deals in transfers, then watch the classifieds in the Ruger.net and smith-wessonforum.com forums. You can find great deals, but if you are looking for something specific, your best bet may be specific forums.
