every race has its gangsters and wannabes.

If you automatically assume them are referring to any particular race, you might be the most racist one here.

    just saying.

Sounds like you're slamming Marin Co. and not necessarily Bullseye!!! We could all pile on that, let's start a new thread!!

The one thing Jackson Arms does right, the one thing they do that has me there whenever I get bored and need to smell gunpowder, is a pretty decent tolerance for rapid fire. If you're a noob you will probably get a warning but if they think you know what you are doing, GTG.

Plus if any of us members see someone doing something really damn stupid, we'll say something right off the bat.

I've been shooting at Bullseye for over two years now and it's by far my favorite bay area range.
Week nights, if you can swing them are the best.

In fact, I'll be there tonight!

+1 for Reed's. I go there almost every tuesday evening. It's quiet, the guys there are nice, and I damn near have the place to myself.

We allow controlled pairs/rapid fire. If you are hitting your target, and controlling the weapon, no problem.

If you come in and rent a gun and don't have much experience shooting, then go out and start blasting rapid fire all over the place, you will be asked to knock it off.

I never thought to ask for ID and verify where the offenders come from. They could come from SF, Sonoma County, Alameda County over the bridge or Marin...

I know you guys can't be in all places at all times, but I've seen people firing for extended periods of time WITHOUT BLOODY TARGETS! Pardon my yelling.

I must have had the most unlucky, unfortunate, astronomically-against-the-odds series of Bullseye experiences before I opted to shoot elsewhere.

                      +10 for Jackson Arms

Good guys there. They monitor the range for anything unsafe.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.

those guys at SL are great to BS with. Chabot is kinda business like with the side window and everything.

I go to both and no complaints either way.
