Someone share information on what they have done for us in California before I lose even more faith in them.

The NRA is like most membership organizations…. We belong because we believe in what they are advocating…

Personally I don’t care for the Exec Vice President, Wayne La whatshisname…. But I do like the current President Sandra Froman….

Do they always have their hand out? Sometimes

      Lobbying is expensive…

      Legal challenges are expensive….

Their value is up to each of us to judge, just keep in mind where we might be without them...

Oh Cheezis K. Reist. Here we go again. I'm amazed that you would say this. Turn your question around: where were YOU when NRA needed you to march with us to stop those gun bills last year? No thanks to you, the only bill that got through and got signed was the anti-.50, and that means a lot of bad bills were killed before Arnold even saw them. But, since you're not actively involved and are content to sit back and criticize, just how would you know what bills were stopped last year? In fact, are you even aware of what *this year's* bills are?

If it wasn't for the active NRA members in this state, you'd have microstamped semi-autos (meaning no guns at all) and serial numbers on bullets (meaning no bullets either) - and those are just TWO of what we've managed to stop.

So, you have a clear choice: you can moan and complain about how NRA isn't carrying the weight for you to your satisfaction, or you can amble over to www.nramemberscouncils.com and sign up to get involved.

You've got your mouth in gear: now get it to work.

About 1-2 years ago, I wouldn't have bothered sending one dime to the NRA, but after the NRA jumped on those numbskulls in New Orleans for the gun confiscation. I finally joined after being a gun collector for over a decade.

Then the NRA started to pay active behind the scene role here in CA. Now I'm definitely a believer in the NRA. Without them, I honestly believe we'd all be talking about the newest airsoft pistol coming out instead of working on OLLs and such.

Didnt I say I wasnt bashing them? Didnt I say I was seeking information so as I dont feel like a tool when they ask for money? You sure did get off your high horse and started getting agressive from behind your keyboard making assumptions about me didnt you? On top of that you dont know how many people I sign up for NRA memberships at my shop do you?

For the rest of you, like I said before, thanks for the information.
