    NRA called again tonight.

*sigh* its funny how I only hear anything at all from them when they want money. Its the only action I have ever seen from them is their need for my wallet or my instructor card needs to be renewed or membership. Someone share information on what they have done for us in California before I lose even more faith in them.
    Buy my EO Tech XPS3-0!!!

For those nutjobs who like to use the word "gouge"
Note: I did not write the above article.

Any carpenters in Socal want a side project?

        Let me see:
        1) They've stopped the BS on redefining what a fixed mag is
        2) They've stopped the 4th class of AWs
        3) They helped to pass AB2728 so that no more receivers can be declared AWs.

These are the major winnings, plenty of smaller ones.

In the last 12-16 months they have been very active in California. If people have been here and have been paying attention, they would have seen many, many posts about just what the NRA is doing in California. Not to mention all the "behind the scenes" type stuff.

The NRA has not lost hope in us, you shouldn't lose hope in them.

As for the spam, call them and ask to be removed from all promotional mailings and phone calls if you are bothered by it.

Don't forget that they took the City of San Fran to court & got the gun ban overturned.

If they called me I would surely have written them a check. they have been doing some good work in the last year or so despite the attack from the Bradies, the Dems, and some of the other supposedly gun-rights groups.

That reminds me, I need to write another check.

Im guessing this isnt the place to complain about the NRA, here are a few more reasons you should buy another membership for your dad, or brother etc.

                  1. The libs are giving grips of $$ to places who dont want you to own firearms.

                  2. When the DOJ gets out of wack the NRA is the only .org that is going to step up and do anything about it.

                  3. $25 bucks a year to the NRA isnt enough to do anything in todays world and that isnt including the hat and sticker you get.

Is $25 all your in for? Im guessing bag ladies and winos give more than that away for causes that work against yours and we are not a majority in this state. If you gave $100 bucks a year to the NRA you would have a better chance of resting on what the NRA is doing without you giving more but $25 isnt enough, period.

AB2728 was written by Klehs (been a while so not 100% sure on the name) which he is more on the liberal side according to his past record.

Yes the bill was the DOJs but it was the NRA who sat at that table and had them get rid of the receiver language if you remember right.

This bill was a way for the people in charge to save face, and we came out ahead IMO. I wonder what would have happened if the NRA wasnt there.

The NRA did a horrible job of letting us know what was going on in teh past years and it got us in trouble imo, when they do somthing right I always like to point it out so folks dont feel like I did 2 years ago.

If they called you its because your a member which is better than talking about them without even supporting them. Donnt take what I have to say the wrong way we are in this together and its going to get busy the next few years.

Hint: they arent going after your guns, they are going after the ammo this time.

The NRA can't always toot its own horn.

Sometimes the benefit of tooting its horn about certain activities, even if it increased membership/dues income, is overridden by need for quiet in back-room plays.

For those of you that don't know, the SF gun ban was dead and gone *before* some non-NRA gunnies that thought the NRA wasn't progun enough dug it up and resurrected it by being politically dumb.

There's a few folks outta jail because of NRA. The DOJ has been held at bay by NRA. More favorable news will arise in coming months.

In an environment challenged by demographics amplified by gerrymandering, we're starting to get traction. We'll probably never be NH, but we can draw and hold a line.

If you followed what happened, it changed dramatically from the original.
