you can put suppressors on airsoft. of course they don't suppress anything since there isn't any gas coming out the end of a airsoft gun, unless you shooting the gas operated ones and even then, it doesn't do much since most of the noise is from the operation of the blowback than propelling the BB.

I have a green gass blow-back 1911 and a full auto m4.

I love to fool around with them in my back yard, but ya have to be carefull...I know of two people that got into 'back yard' skrimshes with other airsoft neighbors and got front teeth shot out.

I now wear a custom painted face mask for that very reason!

Most if not all in-state retailers will only sell you an airsoft gun with a plastic orange tip attached or painted on. Some of the guns come with a black metal FH that you can attach yourself.

Most international retailers will ship you the gun with the orange tip attached and with the Trade Marks covered up or destroyed. They do this to pass customs. You can request to not have this done but it might not pass customs.

I used to airsoft quite a bit and I would paint my airsoft guns to match different scenarios. Whenever I would transport them to a match I would just add some red or orange tape to the tip to be on the safe side if I ever got pulled over by LE.

Yes, you have to pay international shipping but in a lot of cases it still ends up cheaper than buying local.

I've probably ordered from Redwolf the most and typically, if I ordered on Monday I would get it by Friday. They also give you "wolf points" for each order that you can use for free stuff.

I would avoid evike at all costs unless you had no alternative. They are ok to get supplies like gas and bbs but they have the worst CS IMHO.

Just a quick search shows that Red Wolf actually has better prices than buying direct from Japan even before you factor in shipping.

In the past I've had good experiences using the freight company Tenso to ship items from Japan to America. Generally fairly cheap.

Airsoft has some better stuff that we do. Check out the Magpul, LaRue, and Zombie lowers

IIRC red tips are only for importing. While it does make telling the difference easier, I don't recall any law saying model firearms are required to have a blaze orange tip.

Actually, by law any transfer of ownership of an airsoft replica requires orange tips. Beyond that, you can replace/repaint the tips as you please.

My understanding has been that airsoft fields are "private" areas so you do not need an orange tip, likewise in your home you can do what you want.

But for me, just to be on the safe side I used to always transport my AEG's and GBB's with orange tape on the end. It dosen't cost much too.

Like with legal real weapons, if you ever get pulled over the LE can be understanding or someone who can give you a hard time.
