Was it me or was Ammo Brothers prices pretty high?
Are they always like that? They were charging $169.99 for 1000rds of .40.

I did notice that they were charging kind of high for uppers...I've seen them much cheaper at other places.

This one is small so don't be too disapointed if you compare it to shows you may have been to in other states.

                Saturday morning report.

Just got back. I actually spent less than an hour!!! (It helps when I live close by). Doors took a while to open, I saw a line at the entrance right at 9:00 a.m.

I picked up two Glock mags, because you can't get enough and picked up an ammo case for travel.

FYI: Prices WENT up since the last show. The mags usually run for 3-4 bucks less than what I spent today.
As far as ammo, I was looking for some home defense Winchester Rangers in .40S&W; they had pretty decent deals. But for range, I'll just go to Walmart. Cool deals on reloads though.
-Checked out a lot of Hk USCs, Aks, Fals (downstairs), Remington 870s (GunRunners), Steyr AUG (in pieces at Cold Water) and Siagas. Just to show you what I was looking for.

The best thing that came out of it was a dude was selling a 1955 Garand for $1200. Excellent original condition. The dude was a C&R FFL so I could've got it then and there. Pass on the guy. But he was willing to lower the price. I've shot one before and it was sweet, but I was looking for a nice 870 anyway.

                That's my report.

I go there to use the restroom. Buy dream catchers. Stand on the stage. Sometimes I try the hamburgers.

Colt Mustang Stainless @ $495 top floor straight across from the entrance.

Yeah not much there...but CWS is there with lots of OLL and Sigs and stuff.

Yeah, not much of a show...Costa Mesa next weekend is bigger. But this one is close for a lot of us. Some Glendale goodies:
                              Saturday's handgun fun possibilities sold by Sunday morning: The minty $495 Stainless Mustang, a xlnt $350 640 S&W, like-new $400 Star PD .45 and $300 so-so early S&W K-frame snubby.

I managed to get a nice S&W Mod 12-1...old LEO CC gun...some holster wear at muzzle and one cyl corner, a chipped grip but barely shot at all...almost no cyl ringing, no top strap cutiing, nice & tight. Pick-up and Pics in ten days.

And...a S&W M&P .45 w/ thumb safety for sale!! Not on the List? Huh? The dealer said OK to sell....it is NIB...anybody? OK to buy? I would hate to get into a hassle if not legal for sale here. But want want want...
