I'll be there. All the ammo I picked up in Costa Mesa is all practically gone now. Time to stock up some more.

Are ammo prices at gun shows generally the same, higher or lower than some place like ammoman.com?

I beg to differ sir. CB's Sweet and Spicy is the best.

I hope he's at Glendale, the 30 bucks worth of jerky I bought at Ontario is all gone now.

I don't know, but the country butcher brisket beef jerky I bought last year was the best I've ever had. I'm buying as much as I can so I can take them when I see 300. So I'll eat some jerky while I dine in hell.

Generally the same or higher for factory ammo; however there is alot more re-manufactured ammo for sale for cheaper....just beware. If a factory load blows your gun up, you have someone to go to to get your stuff fixed. Billy-bobs reloader probably won't back up their stuff very solidly. Just FYI.

I picked up 20 5.56 strippers, a couple stripper guides, a good supply of cleaning stuff (Hoppes #9 and Semi-Auto, CLP, brushes, a pistol kit, swabs, etc.), some shooting glasses, and 500 rounds of .45 TMJ reloads (@$9.95 per 50) for a whopping total of $150... The best gun deal of the show I saw was an all-matching Egyptian FN-49 in 8mm Mauser for $500 (complete with stock disc and brass buttplate). Other than that? No actual guns I was interested in (given the prices). My observation is that Glendale is okay for extras, but go to Costa Mesa for buying guns. Also, met with a fellow board member and his bro, which was very cool. Good to meet nice, normal folk who are into shooting.

                                Just picked up:
500 rounds of .40S&W caliber 165 gr. Winchester White Boxes for $87+.
500 rounds of .40S&W caliber 180 gr. Winchester White Boxes for $87+.
40 paper targets and a bag of Buffalo jerky.

                                I'm good to go.

They DID have a Body Armor vendor, a first. Sales dude made it sound like the end of the world by having a signs saying: "Buy Body Armor, before CA BANS IT!!!"

I have to pick up a holster belt tomorrow.
