Here is a guy selling 2 plates for $400.

I think you can get a better deal if you shop around. There is a site that sells used police vests for about $200 and up. More bulletproof than tactical. I think you are looking for more tactical, but why not get the extra protection.

What I used to have. Fits almost any plate and room for trauma plates. Modular. I had 8 M4 mags, and 3 pouches and still room for a lot more. Dispersed the weight evenly. All Eagle Industries and TT stuff.

I have a Blackhawk strike vest I'll sell you. It's a large in tan and has soft armor in back. All you need is soft armor for front and plates for front and back. How does $150 shipped sound? Pictures of it in my signature. Its like new

You might want to update that listing. No vest mentioned anywhere...

Yes I know that but pictures are there. I don't have it listed there anymore due to lack of intrust. For reasons of? I don't know but at $150 I would buy it if I was looking. New they are at least double that price and this one has expired soft armor in back to boot.

New setup... slightly modified LE CIRAS.

I switched to and have been really happy with my Tactical Tailor (TT) H.E.V (Hybrid Enhanced Vest). Its molle all over so you can set it up however you'd like, it doesn't have the buckles like the Blackhawk stuff, and it holds both soft armor and plates.

You really can't go wrong with the Eagle stuff, TT, Blackhawk, etc. Mostly just minor differences between those brands but some differences are important to some people. You'll be amazed at how seemingly simple things can end up driving you crazy with your rig.

                        After deployments i realized.
                        Lighter is better.
If u gotta use more than 7 or 8 mags.
                        its a bad day.
Distribute weight evenly. Use a padded belt to hold pistol and accessories.
Put as much weight as you can on the hips.
                        For Sale!!
