Lower Receivers

I really appreciate your help here on this forum, but I am a FNG and I do not have a PHD in Calgun Acronyms, I have read and printed the sticky for the acronyms but some of your response is not on there.

ETA: Someone with a knot in their panties may come along shortly and decry that what I have mentioned above would be considered a straw purchase and therefore illegal. YMMV.

A straw purchase is when someone purchases a firearm for another (generally a prohibited) person. I believe there is a specific exemption worded into the law that mentions a gift. Someone with more knowledge on the subject may chime in shortly...

I just picked up one of each from riflegear. At $99 each and the $20 donation, I couldn't find any reason NOT to!

Riflegear is a pain in the wallet I was there Saturday to pick up my Noveske lower from jail and was offered to add the Calguns lower for $99 only. I was able to take the two lowers home that day.....and some cheap $20 10/20 & 10/30 Magpul PMags Great shop, great guys.

I spoke with JD Machine today at the show and all the CalGuns "BEAR" lowers are gone. They have a few 'Cal. STATE" lowers left .

On the contrary, it would be very right. It would be even better with an RDIAS installed.

I am very happy; I just ordered a bear and a state outline receiver.

Until I came on this forum, I thought I would never be able to own an AR-15
I thought I missed the boat and blew my chance.

This forum has taught me how to go about getting the rifle I have wanted.

man these lowers are so cheap now. I paid so much more when they first came out. Does anybody know what's the highest serial number is now on them?
