I guess the Greatest Generation had a lot fewer cowards in than ours.
My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

That's from a time when it was fun to be a kid. All kinds of cool toys back then.

"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

I had one as well. I also had a M14 and 45 ACP that shot plastic bullets as well.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

I had one, I think, but my favorite was an air rifle. It had a metal barrel. You would cock it and it would put out a burst of air. If you stuck the end of the barrel in the ground before firing you could shoot a dirt clod.

I'm sure it could put out an eye.

Ya, but that dime was almost 30 minutes of house/yard work!

Heck... dad made $2.75, so my $0.25 was a pretty good wage!

That was my favorite one too.

Did you actually oil it where it said "Oil here" to get the after-shot smoke?
