and did they order Prince50 Bullet Buttons, or Prince50 Maglocks? We are still trying to figure out what locking devices Turners is using. Customers that have seen the flyer for the off-list AR's have mentioned both types, and the question to TurnersGunslinger has gone unanswered.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

They are using the Prince50 Maglocks (screw based). Seem to really be pushing the use of these. Stating that the DOJ has informed their lawyers that this is the more secure, less prosecutable way to go.

I didn't want to argue with their logic or the warnings that have been forwarded to them. I just thanked the person for at least bringing them in to their stores.

LWRC ordered Prince50 Maglocks. They normally order Prince50 Bullet Buttons.

I don't know for sure if they are for Turners, but I think it's a safe assumption.

Regardless, who cares? It's a 25$ fix if someone ends up getting one of these guns from Turners.

Just trying to see how far down the OLL-path they have come.

Unfortunately, by only embracing OLLs half-way, I see some uninformed customers getting popped using an allen wrench to undo the set-screw at the range to change the mag. "But I was using a tool..."

Yeah, I agree. I fully believe that the Bullet Button is the safest way to go. There is no confusion with the bullet button.

Unfortunately, some people seem to feel that top-loading is the only way, but with the way the P50 is designed, it does lead people to think that using a tool is ok to back out the screw.

Anyone buying a black rifle from Turner's should INSTALL A BULLET BUTTON BEFORE LEAVING THE SHOP and GET RID OF THE screwdown Prince50.

I do not know who Turner's uses for legal advice but it's apparently not Chuck Michel or Jason Davis.

I'll have to ring their management.

Well even though the OP hasn't repliked or answered any questions since opening the thread (unless I missed it?) I will still ask:

Do you know if the Kearny Mesa store will still sell 9mm WWB, which still contain Wally World price tag, for $10 more than the Wally World tag?
