Have we meet? Are you the guy that let me shoot the 50 out at Angeles range 2 or 3 years ago?

Why did I call the COPs. They guy really pissed me off. I don't react well when loaded guns are pointed at me. Then he starts to lecture me. Everyone has a limit. He just pushed all the wrong buttons.

Nah, I don't hate it. It can be very difficult at times, but in the end, it's still fun most of the time.

People who claim to be or impersonate cops are slimeballs. They are either criminals, mentally deficient, or are compulsive liars. All people who do not need firearms in their posession.

I personally knew someone who did this cop impersonation stuff. He even had fake stories to boot.
      It did not end well.

May have, I make it a point to let anyone who wants to try my 50 a chance to put one or two rounds downrange. Makes me an instant friend and more importantly addicts someone else to the evil world of 50 cals.

Didn't catch the part about him sweeping you with his gun, although that's just part of poor gun handleing/training. And yeah, I hate people that claim they are LE's or worse...Spec Ops.

I remember a guy I met at a gun show once trying to sell me his CHROMED Cobray M11. Said loser was wearing a camo wife beater and combat pants. I asked to see it as I've never seen a CHROMED M11. Said it was his personal gun and that he was assigned to Team 6. And that he would sell it to me for $2000. Remember this is when these things used to sell for $219 new.

I push paper for a living now, but I do miss the days of peddeling guns for a living. Was more fun back in the day when the shelves were lined with ARs, AKs and HKs.....

Seriously though, how much of a loser do you have to be that you're so ashamed of your own life you lie to others and yourself (by fooling yourself into thinking others will believe your stupid ***) and claim to be all sorts of stuff you don't have the first clue about...?

          Sad individuals.

I was working a M16 class a few years ago. I had about 20 full auto M4s in the back of my car. When I got to the training range, I took pause and looked west as I unloaded the guns.

I thought, If I had theses in my car just over that mountain range (CA) I'd be locked up and they'd throw away the key.

Yeah, I miss those days too.

This friggin place is just WRONG!

Did he drive around with an LA County shirt hanging from the back seat window wrapped in plastic?....giving the impression he was a cop that just picked up his laundry?

Everything Fred says is true.. I have seen many of them for myself

                  Here is one of mine...

Tactical shotgun class.. We are in the classroom and Fred (Tack) has use pointed in doing some sort of drill.. Well it was a little hot in the room so we had the door to the parking lot cracked open.. This door is about 20 yards from the main entrance.. Well some Slap-Dick thinks it is a good idea to use this door as an entrance to the range...

He is greated by 5 guys of realy 1 pointing scary evil shotguns in his direction..

Some problems fix themselves with not a word spoken.....

Disclaimer: This one happened over 20 years ago. I sure the statue of limitations has long since expired.
Let's consider it a work of semi fiction for entertainment purposes only.

This one goes way back. Remember the dummy grenades? (We can't have those anymore BTW.) We had one on the counter that had a "take a number" sign attached to pin. These yuppie beamer driving smart *** kids come in and think it's a real grenade. They ask me what would happen if someone pulled the pin. I said, I guess we'd all be done. One of them picks it up and pretends that he's going to pull the pin. I said go ahead.

They proceed to lecture me about how irresponsible it is to have a grenade just sitting there on the counter. I told them I'd store it in a more secure location. They went out onthe range and shot and when they were done they noticed I hadn't moved the dummy grenade. I told them I forgot and once again they tore into me.

As they were leaving I fell in behind them, dummy grenade in hand. They climbed into the shinny red beamer convertible and noticed me standing there. One of the little weenies yelled out. You got a problem?

I said, not any more, pulled the pin and tossed it into the car. The spoon flipped through the air like in a Chuck Norris movie. I can't ever remember hearing sounds like that coming from human beings before. One of the little weenies scream was so high pitched only a dog could hear it. They proceeded to run away from the car screaming like high school cheer leaders. I walked over to the car. picked up the dummy, found the spoon and pin, put the thing back together and placed it back on the counter.

It was a good day once again.

It always amuses me when a customer threatens to never come back. Can't the clueless little slap dick figure out that we don't want them to come back. It's usually someone who we've never seen before and hope to never see again. They act like it will put us out of business. Friigin, no load, pencil necked, slack jaws.

Hang on folks the phone is ringing.

                            Good afternoon, Sharpshooter.

                            Is this sharpshooter?

Thinking.....Naw, it's flipping Sears, I'm just trying to confuse your dumb a**.

                            Sharpshooter.

                            Is this the shooting range?

                            Yes it is.

                            How do I get there?

                            From where?

I mean what's you address if I'm coming from the beach area?

Our address is the same no matter where you're coming from.

Ah, that's not what I meant.

Can I put you on hold for just a second?

                              Good afternoon Sharpshooter.

                              Is this Sharpshooter?

                              Yes.

                              The shooting range?

                              Sigh.

I was talking to someone there and they put me on hold for over twenty minuites.

                              How can I help you.

                              I need directions.

                              Ok, go east on 190th.

I'm not very good with directions.

Start diving, If you hit the ocean, turn around and go the other direction.

                              What if I get lost?

Can I put you on hold for just a second?

This place has been a zoo for the past month. Waiting list all day to get on the range. I'll post some more nonsense in a couple days.
