I'd say ideally I'd be happy with:

22LR = 4,000
32acp = 100
9mm = 1,000
40s&w = 1,000
45acp = 500
10mm = 300
223 = 1,000
7.62x39 = 1,000
308/Nato = 400 (running really low)
308 Match = 400
303 = 500
8mm = 3,000
7.62x54 = 2,500
50bmg = 300
12g = 400

I think this is enough for a zombie raid....

If I start shooting trap, I'll need a lot more 12 ga.

I am running low, very low, like uncomfortably low but here's what I got, and next to it is what I'd like to have...
.22lr- 550rds/2200rds.
.45acp- 26rds/500rds.
7.62x39- 20rds/1000rds
7.62x54r- 10rds/440rds
12ga- 160rds.(100 field, 30 slugs, 30 00 mag. buck)/500rds.(100 field/200 slugs/200 00 mag. buck)
.308win- 20rds/250rds (I don't even own a rifle that will shoot these yet, but it's for the future 10FP/Rem. 700)
Forgot about the 2 specialty 12ga. shells, Sellier and Bellot rubber buckshot and rubber slug.

To answer the question, I have enough ammo on hand that I can actually carry with guns and 2 or more spare mags. I would like to stock up on more ammo, but I like to shoot at least 500 rounds of 9mm, 200 rounds of .223 and 1000+ of .22LR every range trip. Which is decent considering I have a modest budget. I'm not really into shotguns at the moment, but have several boxes target loads/00 Buck for clay pigeons and HD.

7.62 x 39mm has been kinda meh with me lately with the price and availabilty.
