Random question: Posting pics/info on banned-in-CA guns?

After reading numerous posts on Arfcom and here, it's apparent that a lot of folks specifically post nifty guns for the sole purpose of ragging on California (ie "Look what we've got!") This seems to annoy those from CA without fail.

I'd like to know if it's okay to post up some pics of a C&R I've been restoring. It's NOT CA legal, but I'd like to show it off because I'm proud of the work I've put into it. It's been about 6 months of on and off work and it's finally coming together and in firing shape.

Any problems with posting pics and details?

    Thanks,

    Mike

It's all about intent. Post away!

    We can take it.

I agree, you are not posting to mock or annoy, you are proud of the results of your efforts.

My suggestion is that posting in the "Curio & Relic" discussion area might be appropriate.

Otherwise, go right ahead. Like to see what you've been working on.

I call them antburners - kids who love to make try to make themselves feel better by taunting us.

And the best way to shut them up is to post a half a dozen or more nice looking pre-2000 weapons and then ask them to put theirs up.

They don't go to beach for the same reasons most of us do, my buddy from East Texas heads goes down to the beach to burn batteries for the lead. Typically Texans don't care about the CA. lifestyle nor do anyother people in the South. It only seems to be the Mid-West and half the North-East that wants what we have
