so what did you have to do regarding them sending back your registration form?

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

      I definitely care.

What did you do about this, exactly:

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

In a nut shell; Filled out their "required" information (anticipated length, cal.), sent it back, received a call asking if they were semi auto: single shot or revolver because "frame" was not acceptable. Called them semi and received the letter today.

interesting int that they tell you to submit a NLIP if you ever transfer ownership in the firearm instead of telling you to do a PPT DROS.

Plus, the letter does not say "handgun" anywhere.

And they have "US" as the make instead of the actual brand name. Did you list "US" or the brand name on your volreg?

I just looked at the pdf file for the application. I can't explain why it was listed that way. Manufacturer was provided on application.

huh?? http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/volreg.pdf shows two boxes, "MAKE (as stamped on firearm)" which I think you'd list the brand, and "FIREARM ORIGIN (US, Italy, China, etc)" which would say US.

Cosmetically, it's ok and will have to do. But since it's a registered pistol; she's beautiful.
