How well does 9mm knock down steel targets?

Well two weeks ago at Front Sight I knocked down three targets and two of those were past the 20 meter line. So I would say you should be fine.

I've done it, but sometimes the 115gr 9mm doesn't have enough power to knock them down with authority. Increase the load or switch to a heavier bullet; OR have them tune the poppers to be a bit more sensitive to lower power loads.

I haven't had any problem with 115gr. at about 15-20 yards out of my Glock 34. I wouldn't worry about it.
