Hollyweird for you. Next thing you know, some gangbangers will be holding their AR's like that causing malfunctions because they are pushing on the forward assist. That IS where they get their firearms "training" from by watching stupid movies and television; that's where the shooting pistols sideways, "dual wielding" and the "racking of the pump shotgun" to "intimidate the badguy" comes from.
