That's just weird; why the heck would you go to all the trouble of tarting up an Ak to look like and AR... wouldn't it just be easier to get an AR?

Its an Armalight AR18. The actor does not know how to hold it judging by the way he is trying to use the forward assist as a thumb rest.

do you have a picture to back that up. I googled AR18 and got a pic similar to that, however it didnt have the AK style mag release that this one has, and a couple of other differences.

Looks like it is made with milled AK receiver.

Maybe piston prop guns work better than impinged ones with blanks.

Nope, no proof. I think I was wrong on that one. The AR 18 has nor forward assist. No matter how you slice it, that gun is movie magic.

Oh, why oh why did they do that to that poor milled AK. You can see it's had it's lower front end cut off, the selector lever cut down, some crap welded to the top cover, and an AR handguard attached over the barrel. I need to see the rest of the magazine, but it looks like a .223 AK mag. WTF!
