    Am I paranoid???

Last night I was at Walmart in Milpitas and they were unpacking a case of WWB .40

Now, I don't even own a 40, but I strongly considered buying the six box limit of it.

    My rationale was:
    1. Eventually I will likely own a .40 and the price will never be this good in the future.
    2. All ammo will become even more scarce than it is now.
    3. If the SHTF, perhaps I could trade it for some calibers that I do have.
    4. Who can I buy it for that I know owns a .40?

Am I alone in this thought process???????

Ultimately, I did not purchase any .40

    Good or bad choice???

Good choice. Leave it for someone who can use it. Jesus this mentality of I have to have all the ammo i can is the reason no one can find any ammo on the shelves.

i do think your paranoid...prices will come down and even in some places ammo is starting to become more available.but if you do plan on getting a 40 by all means get the ammo.and i don't think ammo is going to become scarce that you need to buy on that type of emotion.

just my opinion but really i don't think you have to worry.

Yes, you are. Normal people don't prepare for SHTF, buy things today for things they may possibly own tomorrow, and so on.

Agreed. You are paranoid in my opinion. This is why there is no ammo on the shelves.

In my opinion, these overblown SHTF senarios and Zombies running rampant everywhere is plain craziness. It's one thing to have a "plan" in the case of a disaster (earthquake, hurricane, etc.) but to start buying up stuff because you MIGHT need it is nuts.

What is the thought process that would make you do that?
