Today would've been a great day for a Chabot Shoot-n-Q. Bright, dry and warm between 10:30AM and 3:00PM A bit breezy in the late morning/mid-day, but most of the time it was blowing downrange.Originally posted by ChrisTKHarrisComment

Definately it was a very nice day. Glad to see you there Ted soaking up some sun and squeezing off some rounds. I tested the Winchester M855 ammo and I would have to say it's top quality ammo..very hot ammo..not like that weak @ss Olympic greek SS109. Yep. Weather for Tac pistol on Saturday was fantastic. Sunday for Tac rifle was decent (kept chaning from cold to warm based on cloud cover). Today I hung out w/ the fam at the park - 2 gun days out of three was already pushing my luck
Tac pistol is on the 17th again so I'll prolly be out that day. Not sure if I can make the following wkend as well. I'll try though.
So no one's filled me in on the format - do we just setup a grill on the grounds and everyone brings a dead animal to grill? Do we get to reserve the entire 100-yard line for calgunners? HPS, can you open the 200-yard line in a wkend? I deperately need some 200-yard time before the BARC in April.Comment

Usually, Ted calls and arranges the date with the range staff.
Then, we show up with a couple of grills and carcass. Take up spots that you can keep an eye on, grill carcass, fire rounds in between grilling.
Yummy, carcass.....Yeah, back in the Ranching days, they called me spoon.
