    The concealed carry poll

    Self-explanatory.

-If you live somewhere where it's very difficult to virtually impossible, but you like buying lottery tickets and you're going to pay the fees and try anyway then put "I would like one but in my county us peons aren't allowed to defend ourselves."

I would like to get one but I have never actually looked into it. Does anyone know if San Diego county would allow a concealed carry license?

Not Old enough for CCW in this state.

You should have added "I don't have a CCW but I carry anyways" ... see how many people selected that option.

You, like me, are a San Diego peon. Bill Kolender doesn't think we have any self-defense justification for CCWs, and the permits which he does issue for business reasons, he likes to attach conditions to. Like, he'll actually put a note on there saying "only valid while transporting valuables over $35k" or whatnot. At least, that's what I've been told. It's why I was really bummed that he won the sheriff's race AGAIN recently.

If Cal Minor won as sheriff then I might have had a chance in Fresno Co. Oh well.

Everything I've read says that S.B. County is pretty much a guaranteed CCW if you meet the quals. I started filling out my paperwork this afternoon. Hopefully I can get some cash together soon so that I can pay the app. fees and take the required live fire/safety training course. Guess I shouldn't have bought so many OLL's!

I am in Kern. One of these days I'll give it a shot. After I get my 1911 probably.

I want one and object to having to have one.. felons are already prohibited from owning a gun so basically the gubment is saying "we don't even trust citizens who are not criminals"

I looked in to it and it appears that the whole process will cost $500-$1000 that I would, at this point, rather use elsewhere
