Well, the rules are that once you get a clip for any gun, you have to buy that gun.

Buying the gun aint all that bad. It's trying to find affordable ammo for it.

I have a garand, I could take them off your hands!

One doesn't get 'M1 Thumb' from loading a Garand.. they get it from messing around with an empty Garand... mstly from not making sure the bolt is locked ALL the way to the rear and not hung up on the rear of the follower....

Indeed. I was lucky to find some good WW2 surplus .30/06 ammo for my 1917 Enfield. It's packed away in a sealed army surplus ammo can with a bag full of Swedish Mauser stripper clips. These are boxer primed DEN 42 cases and reloadable too.

I bought this Enfield for $100 at the gun show more than 20 years ago. Cleaning up a few burs in the chamber (with emery cloth)was all that was necessary to get it back into shooting condition. The M-1 Garands are bit pricey for me in Today's market...

You slipped and said you found them (not yours) and now post it up for sale.

Why don't you bring them back to the range where you found them or give them up for free.
