    Fairfield gun buyback

There's a buyback in Fairfield on Sept. 5th.

    Break out the Lorcins!

But seriously... This is all because some retard sold a gun at a garage sale(I'm assuming it wasn't a C&R) and it was used in a random shooting, resulting in the death of Matt Garcia.

That must be one pissed off gun
Mine are evil as sh*t, and haven't EVER killed anything(not including ground squirrels )

I think we need to have a "gangbanger buyback". Everyone turn in a gang member and receive a $200 Best Buy gift cert.

*participation may vary by location. Not valid in California.

Any Pro 2A gun store. Not some "gun store" that refuses to sell OLL's and such and only spread FUD to unknowingly gun owners. No names will be mentioned here as we already know which ones.

We should arrange a legal gun "swap meet" where we host a gun buyback at a friendly FFL. Except the buyback would be in the form of cold hard cash for legally owned firearms.

Get fair market value(more than what the cops give you) for your grandpappy's WW2 bringbacks!

I would rather boycott Best Buy, Target and other retail stores which help to finance these silly buyback programs...

Are they actually financing them? Or is the city/county just picking a place from which to offer gift cards? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they get a discount, and BB gets a tax break. But are they actually funding the buybacks 100%?

Ha, funny you mentioned that. Call me crazy but yesterday I was thinking how cool it would be if someone could organize a Cal Guns Convention / Swap Meet / Vendor show.

It would be like a very large gunshow centered around Calguns members. Everyone brings in their legally owned firearms to display (like a car show) to trade or sell (like a Swap Meet) and have vendors present like a normal Gun Show. We currently have what, 30k members, I bet we could get 10k to show up over a weekend. We could discuss 2a law reform strategies, do a raffle/fund raiser for the foundation, network with other calgunners, show off our prized rifles, shotguns and handguns, and just have a good time in general.

Let them prove that they aren't doing it. The fat cat owner of a vegetable processing firm donated thousands of dollars to the Salinas gun buy back in June. He doesn't have a retail operation; so a boycott isn't gonna work well. On the other hand, it's easy to avoid Target and Best Buy. I don't need their s---...

I will be in attendance tomorrow if anyone else would like to meet up. I will be offering cash for C&Rs and offering to meet people to PPT non-C&Rs and handguns at a local FFL.

PM me your phone number if you want to join me.

Hey Deadeye. Did you show? Details? Curious because my bro worked the buyback for FFPD. I'll have to call him and get the real skinny on what got turned in.
