It seems like you might want to lock it up, but if you put it in a tightly sealed container (like a safe, mine has water seals) and there's a fire, isn't that just a big bomb? Can I say bomb here? I probably just got my name on the watch list....back to the issue at hand....
What's a safe way to store ammo reasonably. Someone here probably has a specially constructed containment system in the basement complete with laser intrusion detection, fire suppression, and blow off doors...but for the rest of us, what? A locking metal cabinet made of of thin sheet metal maybe with ventilation louvers? I need to figure something out, the bottom drawer of my roll away tool box is full of ammo and I have more I need to store, plus it'd be nice to just put tools in the tool box (maybe one gun....)
