Ak Build Party Anytime Soon?

Hi Storm,
Glad you got back in one piece! I think you will find the AK build pretty darn easy with a little patience and mechanical apititude. If you have a dremel, demil as much as possible. That will save alot on time and also allow you more time to make sure the flat becomes a perfect reciever. Take your time trimming your rails, this will determine the smoothness of the action. Also, have someone who really knows what they are doing do the heat treating. its actually a little tougher than it seems. A mushroomed ejector tip and egged out FCG holes are kind of a drag if you plan to shoot that thing a few times! If you have any more questions, just ask here. Good luck.

You've got a Romy, an AK Builder flat and rivets, and anything you might have picked up from someone else.

My schedule is a mess lately, this is the ramp up season for Christmas and to get products ready for demo at CES and the Automotive trade shows. If you don't get hooked up with a party I'm sure we can get it done, but it may take some schedule arrangement.

Man must have been ages ago cuz me no remember...lol.
But yah, find someone with a 12 ton press and we'll get er done.
I got the rest of the tools/jigs/etc.
Er....forgot.....someone needs to bring a spot welder.....me no got.

TonyM sold me the kit, not MrNiceGuy! No wonder he didnt know what kind of kit I had! hahahah! I will check out that thread for the next builder party and try to demil as much as possible before the party!
