I have found 9mm and lots of .22 in Walmarts on my travels through Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. Until last year, I could even purchase in Illinois just by showing my CA ID because a FOID card was only required for in-state residents. My son only lived an hour away from the Underwood factory.

Next month he is moving to Montana.

I will miss the Underwood factory.

Speaking about back in the day, my mom bought my Winchester .30-30 as my first hunting rifle from K-Mart in Santa Cruz. The father of a good friend was going to take me hunting so that summer he taught me to shoot it. It was cash and carry. I still have it and it is not registered wit anyone. Did not even have to fill out a 4473 to buy it. Those were the days.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

That Walmart was the cleanest of their stores that I have ever seen. And I mean the customers as well, same with the Costco up there. Reminded me of what it was like back in the early 1970s where I grew up, a better community.

Walmart here sells rifles, shotguns, ammo, and reloading supplies. They haven't had powder regularly in stock for a while.

Run of the mill, don?t usually buy ammo there but I do buy all my powder from them.

I got one of those old 1940?s Montgomery Wards take down 12 gauge?s.

That's a cool shotgun. Made by Savage, designed by Browning. Is it a model 30?
I missed buying one by mere seconds one time. Guy had it at the range, mentioned he might sell it, he said $200, and as I reached for my wallet, my friend already had two bills in hand.

I scored mine at a foothills (Mariposa county) gun shop guy walks in with it and wants to sell it to the shop. Shop don?t want it, I had $60 bucks in my wallet. Said let?s talk outside. He took the $60 and I took the shotty, cash and carry.
