Yep, I was up to 230 AM last night, ferreting out my special needs ammo unavailable generally. Cowboy LC, $2/RD 308, etc.

Just placed an order with Ammo Depot for some .44 mag.

Seriously. I went straight from the CRPA notice to several sites checking to see which vendors were on the ball and ready to ship to CA gun owners direct.

Calguns is the LAST place I dipped into, considering how anemic and slow it's been these past several months.

Such a waste of time to try to jump in here, wait multiple minutes between pages or making posts, just to have it 'time out' half the time like some dial-up connection from 1992 to verify anything or share in the joy of the news.

i received an email from crpa then came here to check the politcal forum and o/t. it was mad dash to ammo sites i was having fun checking ammo sites just to see how fast the popular calibers go out of stock.

Last night Wednesday Target Sports orders in the cart asked for FFL info. Today Feb 1 orders in the cart go through without FFL info (i.e. they started shipping to your door in Calif).

Target Sports USA charges sales tax.
Velocityammosales.com (another online seller) does not charge tax.
Both ship free if you buy enough and both ship to your door.

Door will close soon. Right now Calif can't ask anybody for a stay except Benitez. He will deny and Calif will then ask the 9th, and get it immediately. Might be a couple hours from now, or couple of days. Orders not actually shipped will cancel

(Targetsports has two boxes to check or not to give you easy choices): Ship in another overlay box to hide what's inside or not. Ask for signature on delivery or not.

Benitez court order: done yesterday.

Calif asked Benitez for emergency stay, twice: Benitez denied both (about a couple hours ago).
Calif filed to the Emergency Motions Panel of the 9th circuit for a stay (very soon after).

No decision yet from the EMP...
Could come now at any time (freedom period would end)

Well if this is true I feel like this is actually even more exciting than ammo shipped to my door. Don't get me wrong I am juiced about that but being able to buy ammo from fellow CGers without the FFL time/money suck is pretty cool too.
