I don't take any ammo, I just "borrow" it off the shooters there, you know, like people "borrow" a cigarette. A couple of rounds here and a couple of rounds there and I can shoot.

Actually, I have a small war bag that I bought from a deputy who made them when I worked the jail. It was supposed to be for when I returned to patrol, which of course never happened since I had to retire. I have my hearing protection, a couple of tools, Breakfree, a couple of bore snakes, some gloves and some of what else has been mentioned. Oh, I it also has a CPR mask in it just in case.

I, too, tape up my target to use as much as I can. Got into the habit while working in le when we did our all day shoot at the PPC course at the jail by Magic Mtn.

        i have a any-time-going-to-the-range roller that has

tools for adjust sights, mounts, mag loaders, etc
ear pro active and passive for guests
        eye pro enough for guests
        gloves
        targets
        binos
        tape
a box that holds ammo in one spot so it doesn't shift in the roller
        water or gatorade

depending on what i bring to the range, there's also a gun bag that either has all the rifles or all the handguns plus mags in it.
