Well, if there are parts that you need which you can?t find commercially, some of the small merchants might have them. I myself found a firearm I was searching for from a smaller vendor at the show this afternoon.

Bulk ammunition purchase is also an option especially if you bring you and your spouse to maximize the limit. I also support local businesses. It will also produce a snow ball effect hopefully. If vendors notice a turn out and calculates profitability, more vendors will come.
Other than that, like I said on my first post, there were no inspection booth or metal detectors at the entrance. Just reminding us here that it is county or state owned. Your call with what you carry of course.

More likely, require before entry or no entry.
see, that's a problem. if the 2a is serious about their claims that legal gun owners and conceal carriers are safe, they need to stop following these liberal protectionist doctrines. it's the liberals that say conceal carriers are dangerous and not to be trusted, so why are we affirming their beliefs by disarming conceal carriers at these venues? are we saying conceal carriers are too stupid to keep their loaded guns inside their holster? are we saying they will shoot up the venue? 2a supporters need to get serious about what they believe in and have some consistency and logic behind their policy making
Since 01-01-2000, it has been illegal for non-exempt persons to possess a loaded firearm at a gun show in CA. [PC 27330]
^No exemptions to this for a person with a valid CA CCW permit.

      Penal Code 27330
No person at a gun show or event, other than security personnel or sworn peace officers, shall possess at the same time both a firearm and ammunition that is designed to be fired in the firearm. Vendors having those items at the show for sale or exhibition are exempt from this prohibition.

I went there today. It was crowded but not too bad. The 4 buildings were full and one area between had vendors. The other side was empty between the other enclosed buildings.
$12 for parking and $25 to get in.
I wanted to buy some revolver speed loaders. None to be seen.

Lots of Glock, Sig, and AR15 stuff. A few of the local gun dealers there also.

Long lines for ammo but people were waiting and buying.

Negative. Didn't see any signs, no detectors, no bag or backpack checks, nothing. I saw people bringing in their firearm to trade too and there was no checks too.

Team of 8 OC sheriff were walking together along us checking out stuff, saying hellos, buying candy from fundraiser kids.

Ammo line had the most action.

At Old Del Mar they would allow firearms in but they required a tie wrap though the action.

I was there yesterday as well. Glad this place is back because it?s so much better and bigger than the Ontario and S.B. shows.

Lots of good deals on name brand parts for Glocks, ARs, Sigs. Rifle Supply, Atlas, Ammo bros were all there with deals as well.

              Went home with bulk reloads.

Exactly. It isn't voluntary adherence to some liberal mantra. Show promoters (who are permitted/licensed by DOJ to hold the shows) must comply with the law or they will be shut down. Step down from the soap box
