    Failing to properly transfer a gun inside CA is a misdemeanor. You get to decide what is the risk of detection, prosecution and conviction.

      What about if your father lived in ca but passed away in AZ and you took possession of his hand gun that never left the state .. you have his death certificate ? Asking for a friend .
