    Just canceled my CCW insurance.

With SB2 enacted, it is now illegal to carry a firearm literally everywhere. What?s the point in having and paying the insurance?

    Am I wrong?

To each his own BP but nothing is changing for me. I will still carry everywhere I did before. Plus SB2 is still going through the courts. It will be stopped.
I will stand for truth even if I stand alone.

Probably a good idea. I've read that it's against the law for insurance companies to provide coverage for illegal acts, and our "government" just made it illegal to carry almost everywhere in the state.

I'm looking into the places that have lawyers on retainer.

Hey BP, this whole CCW scheme really sucks sweaty donkey balls. After Bruen, there was light at the end of the tunnel for many of the strangleholds and restrictions that California had on the 2A.

In order to stay legal, I don't see how you can really CCW in a meaningful way. Carry from the house to the car. Drive from point A to point B, lock up pistol in a locked container and hope you don't get caught by a useless Karen or worse, by a common street thug that will probably get less time than you even if they caught the thug in the act.

Everything from CCW to standard capacity mags to the roster, this state sucks. Now, everytime you set foot in a gun store, your face and conversations will be recorded. If you choose to buy anything, you'll get an 11% tax on top of the already extortion tax we have to endure in CA.

You have to ask yourself, what is the cost to exercise your 2A rights here (among others)? Have you had enough? Do you have circumstances to move to a free state?

Califookistan's goal through all of these laws is to eventually eliminate lawfully owned guns from the populace, thus giving the criminals, whom they will not prosecute, free reign to terrorize us.

It is their version of 'commonsense' gun laws.

I spoke with a deputy a while back just before SB2 was signed. Here is what he said: "If you're doing it right [carrying], who's going to know?"

My permit expires mid-2024. I plan to renew anyway in hopes that things get better, i.e. SB2 gets overturned.

AOR is your friend. They will still cover you for criminal defense in Cali, even if you use your gun in a “prohibited” area.

I keep a pistol in my locked glovebox. It will still be legal. Sb2 sucks bc I won?t carry on public transportation and rural parks. Instead, I will carry a stun gun and knife.

Never got a ccw insurance. Chances of using it is low and if it?s a civil lawsuit, I have the means to lawyer up.

For the first time, I am considering moving out of CA or establishing a second residence. I do have business in Ca to run or else I would have done it already

                  You are wrong.

The insurance still covers you if, god forbid, you have to shoot someone in your home. Or...ya know...if one of your bitches gets out of line.

CCWSafe is claiming the same. But we want to see something more solid from them than emails answers to the question and Facebook posts saying yes.

These are all relevant to civil litigation all these insurers have nothing to do after sb2 with criminal cases. It's simple have a CCW license, carry in a sensitive place, use said firearm to protect yourself and or loved ones, get arrested and made an example of. Nothing any of the "insurance" companies can do to help you that a public defender can or can't do. The law is the law
