Woah! That is one scary looking gun, I think you need to take your post down before someone pees themselves.

We only talk about HVAC repairs and nonsensical ways to refurbish batteries here. All of our guns are at the bottom of a lake where they belong.

                Think of the children!

Oh, and I?ll give you tree-fiddy and a pallet of used airplane batteries. No low-balling I know what I have. Do you feel lucky punk?

Depending on condition like everything else.My primary collection is prelock Smiths so I’m constantly a bird dog sniffing around for them.I feel like I have a finger on the pulse of realistic values. What someone is willing to pay also fluctuates depending on the time of the year .If we just received stimulus checks or it’s summer time and people pockets might be lined with disposable money i think some are more incline to pay top day especially if they have a void to fill in there collection or they want to buy a premium piece that is much better than the MIM part fill junk Smiths made currently.More than a few people here want crazy money selling and opposite of that you have a few that will low ball the heck out of you . Just to give you a idea right now I have a very rare 686 from the Performance Center factory engraved 1 of 50 .On a good day at auction 6-7 years ago a couple have sold for 3k + . Here in Calguns December 2023 I listed it for $2,650 then reduced it to 2,500 then took 20% more off and got it down to 2k ..now I think I have a buyer but not without people asking me to drive a hour away and offer 1,500 bucks. Accessories are nice to put icing on the cake for sale but most people don’t care and aren’t willing to pay a premium on top for those things they really just want the gun.Just another example for the sign of the Times theres a gentleman listing a Smith and Wesson 57 no dash N frame in 41 magnum in the classified with the 4” barrel .It looks very minty condition gorgeous bluing its pinned/recess gun w/ presentation box at $1,200 it’s a honest price and looks like he is hearing crickets .GLWS

                    Tree-fiddy one.

I got rid of mine long ago when I noticed I never shot it any more. Wish I still had it. Except mine seemed to have weird oversized chambers. The fired brass came out almost bottlenecked.

4 inch .41's and .44's are a niche market. .41's in general are a niche market.

8 3/8” barreled S&Ws are not super popular.

Assuming excellent condition I would say $1000-1200 with the accessories would be a good price for buyer and seller.

You would find more interest at www.smith-wessonforum.com if you are willing to ship.

                        Good luck with sale.

BUT the long barreled are the best to shoot. They almost aim themselves, and the weight out front dampens muzzle flip.

I have a 29-2 (8 3/8") from the 70s that has a beautiful finish. Look and shoots just as well as another earlier S series N frame Model 57 I have. Having the original box or presentation case is a valuable addition to have.

Mine has nice deep blue bluing high polish. Only shot it couple hundred times. Used for hogs and a black bear.
