I have a 29-2 that I believe is unfired since it left the factory and is complete with it's presentation case, tools and owners manual. I am thinking about selling it sometime after April when hopefully people have a bit more money. In light of that, I have been researching Gunbroker auctions to see what they currently sell for.
There is a wide disparity in selling prices, but generally speaking, those with some rounds through them in decent condition seem to SELL for around $1400, those that are unfired in their presentation cases can sell for as much as $3500.
With such a large difference in what they actually sell for, I think that you might have to do some research to see where in the pricing hierarchy yours is located and then add a bit for the Commiefornia premium.
One thing to consider is if you intend to do the Gunbroker route, my observation is those auctions where a credit card can be used to pay for the item, it will go for a higher amount. All guns now have to be shipped through a FFL (thank you Beijing Biden) so you will have to include that extra expense when factoring the shipping costs.
I also have a unfired 27-2 in it's presentation case and I am probably going to use my local FFL to market them both on GB. He will charge me 15% to handle the marketing, payment and shipping which I feel is reasonable.
