Your problem is that you are not only using Google, but you are using their spyware program (Chrome). WHY????"What is a moderate interpretation of the text? Halfway between what it really means and what you'd like it to mean?"

This is one situation where there is no good solution. You can either fund the CCP to build their army to destroy us or you can buy high-end Samsung and fund Google via the OS. (At least you are helping S Korea or Vietnam with the hardware-they don't seem to currently want to kill us.)
I want Elon to make a Muskphone. Starlink network, Musk OS, if made in the USA I'm IN!"What is a moderate interpretation of the text? Halfway between what it really means and what you'd like it to mean?"

OpenOffice was good. LibreOffice and ApacheOpenOffice are the successors.
Not as polished as MS, but also not as bloated. I've been using them for almost 20 years."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."Comment

As mentioned by several others, it's been going on for several years, but what I find surprising is the blatant and egregious intentional act to block legal, law-abiding activity.
For example, Gunbroker, Gunsamerica, Brownell's, Sportsmans Warehouse, Palmetto State, Riflegear, and dozens of others represent a HUGE dominant presence on the internet when it comes to the topic of firearms and related parts.
And yet, when you do such a search whereby 'for sale' or just general search are performed on a certain make/model of a gun, NO results come back for these sources of any kind.
Doing the same search with DuckDuckGo or other search-engines that don't instill interference, brings up plenty of results from these sources.
I think that some organization or entity like Gunbroker or Palmetto State would have a good case against Google for its monopoly and restrictions on their results over say the same that is realized if you were to search for a certain car, phone, or toothpaste brand, and the results that would come up for those.
They aren't justified in blocking those results due to 'parental controls' which I suppose could be valid if the parent actively wishes to block results - Google is taking it upon themselves to unfairly block a legal product and commerce due to their own biased opinions which has an impact on another legal industry.
I'm not sure under what law related to obstruction of legal commerce that may fall under, but I'm sure some savvy legal hawks could easily figure where that fits, and act on it.
Checking all the reasons Google gives for blocking certain results, it doesn't appear that they have a valid reason to block results related to law-abiding use and retail of firearms:

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?Comment
