Heres the first time shooting my M&P this past friday.
I always been a rifle shooter, and finally took my pistol out.
standing at 15 yrds on the orange peel target.
Sitting on the yellow target my best group was the 4 shots aimed at the lower left diamond which hit low and in the middle between the two.

Yes I need more pistol trigger time.

respectable groups in my book. if you were shooting at a bad guy at any possible distance in my house you would have got him.

I don't need you to tell me what the point is. I was responding to the claim made in post #3.

My deal is this, I'm old enough that I don't feel I have to impress anyone. I've never been one who has had the need to build an ego. I am who I am and I shoot how I shoot. If I outshoot you-good for me, if you outshoot me-good for you.

Exaggerating skill at arms is as old as the firearm itself.

It's not an issue with me unless the exaggerator in question is a professional, and then I think it's more of a need of remedial training than a fatal flaw.

I will admit to a perverse pleasure on my part in taking exaggerators (you can usually tell who they are) to the range and downplaying my skill, and then watching the reaction of my victim.

Unfortunately a co-worker whom I victimized this way always will blow my cover if he learns I'm taking somebody to the range, usually starting out with "don't shoot against him for money!" and then reciting his experience.

The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
