    Where do you go to get a National Forest Adventure Pass please?

              I will have some time on my hands tomorrow and I will call the ranger to find out where we can do our first cleanup. I wont be this weekend due to such short notice. I hope to get something in the works soon. thanks everyone for your feedback.

                  The Temecula gun club is on Winchester Rd., North of Auld (Southwest Sheriff's station and county jail are on Auld). It is just South of the Moose Lodge on the west side of the street.

                  It is for trap shooting only as far as I know and is open on Thurs. and Sundays. I recall when I first moved into the French Valley area that I thought it was strange to hear gunshots at 9pm on a Thursday.

                  As far as Rainbow, it actually costs $145, not $130. They raised it at the beginning of the year from $125. I, of course, joined after it went up. They changed it from the calendar year to simply one year the day after I joined (the story of my life)

                  A member can have two guests at a time and it is $10 per guest. What is really cool is you can have your spouse or child under 18 join for $15 for the year as an associate. IIRC, they have to be there tho when you shoot; they cannot come alone (I'd double check that with them tho).

                  They have combat pistol matches on the 2nd Sat. of the month and trap matches on Thurs. and Sundays. Everyone is given the combo to the lock, but I've never seen it locked myself during range hours.

                  It is a nice club and all of the members I've met are nice. Bob, the Range Master is a hoot!

                  ETA: When leaving, if you are turning left, be very careful and move fast once you start as there is a blind curve. It makes the end of your day of shooting almost as fun as the shooting. lol

I was out there today And this is what I saw. as you can see there are a lot of casings all over the place and a computer screen, old t.v., big freon cans(huge fine from EPA ,really who is THAT STUPID), ETC,ETC. and here ia another one of all the casings...

                          Yeah the Cottonwood area in the S.B. National Forest is worse. Here are pics from the last time I was out there in May.

                              I went and checked out this spot this weekend and this is what I saw;

                              I wasn't about to touch somebody else's used needles w/o gloves so I left it alone. Me and some other buddies did pick up a garbage bag full of trash though.
