      Classic WTB scam.

Trust no one if you post a WTB.

You can try to dispute it through PayPal and see if they do anything for you. I don't use PayPal, but I think you can load it with a credit card. If you can and did, maybe you can dispute it with your CC company.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Notify PayPal and tell them the guy is using the account to sell firearm parts. They will close his account and seize any funds left. Bonus points is you tell them it was assault weapon parts.

Rule #1. Don?t ever use Friends and Family to pay for something on Paypal. If the seller refuses to accept your offer of +3% to use the protected payment method, it?s a near guaranteed scam. Paypal clearly intends Friends and Family transactions for just that, anything else is intent to commit fraud by bypassing their fees and it?s too bad, so sad for the sap who falls for it.

The only good reason to keep the WTB forum open is to keep the scammers away from the regular for sale threads. It serves no relevant purpose to this site anymore.

Do that, and Paypal won't give you your money back either.

Scammers often seek out people with poor spelling as they are more likely to be suckers.

Knock on wood, I've never been burned on here, but everything was in person or with longstanding members with immaculate feedback. If the deal sounds too good or convenient (WTB) it is probably a scam. I will say I have stumbled on some fantastic deals here, but it was after I contacted the seller about an item and agreed on price, then the follow up: what else you trying to get rid of...

I get the scam emails in minutes after posting in WTB. Always new accounts and zero trade rating and friend?s has what I want with their email.

Don?t respond to people with 0 trade rating!

let me get this straight: you sent PayPal money to a person who has never made a single post and has zero feedback? You really did that?

Some people pay a lot of money to go to school - but street smarts sometimes costs even more. Hopefully this lesson did not cost too much and it will be one you remember.
