Well this got hit with the ugly stick

B&T came out with this suppressed pistol in either 9mm or 45ACP and they are uglier than a Block, and that's hard to do.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Like everything about it - BUT that Duramatic/Dardick style trigger guard needs to go.

If it's like the pistol they came out with a little while ago, it is not a semi-automatic pistol. It's more of a bolt action, using the twist knob at the back, which enables it to be even more quiet because you don't have the sound of the slide reciprocating an then coming closed with every shot.

So as mentioned above it is a copy, more or less of the World War II Welrod pistol, but with possibly a larger magazine capacity, and its role is meant to be as silent as possible.

Personally I wouldn't want to give up the ability for semi-automatic action unless I also had a team of armed people backing up my play to invade/enter some high security area that we weren't supposed to be in.
And I'm going with a paintball tournament if I have to do that kind of thing.

Some similarities to the "Liberator" sans suppressor they dropped during WWII. If it was silver instead of black.

Ian featured this on Forgotten Weapons. It is ostensibly intended for veterinary use for putting down animals.

Useful only for a hitman, seems to me.
                          What else?

Of course it is, but B&T or any other manufacturer is not going to advertise it as such, thus the intended veterinary use. Probably the rather eccentric owner of B&T thought making an updated Welrod would be cool, so he did, and manufactured a plausible use for it along with the pistol.
