I?ve been meaning to get around to doing this.

Where are you guys getting your threaded barrels from? Specifically for a 5.5? buck mark.

I want to use the can along with my Taurus TX compact which has threads.

It's a lot harder if you have an ancient gun like a Buckmark. Yes, it's ancient. It's copied from the Colt Woodsman, which itself may or may not be copied from an even older H&R. Modern guns like the Taurus and SIG come with threaded barrels.

Tornado Technologies has a pretty amazing reputation for adding threads and threaded bbl extensions to many firearms. Send them an email.

You must allow them in NO questions asked.
I also heard you can put the address of a bank safety deposit box down as the place where the item resides leaving your residence unapproachable.
The BATF can inspect the tax stamp item but you don't have to let them in your house. You go inside, get it and bring it out to them.

Gonna be my next buy. Want one for my 300 mag to quiet it down a little for hunting. Some I talked too who had some bought some that they use among multiple guns. I would use for 300 and my 10.5 5.56 ar. Might make me want to get a 300 black out then too.

No problem! Even if you're gun isn't listed on their site give them a ring. They do some amazing stuff. I'm extremely tempted to send in one of my HK p7's to them and have a threaded extension added. I know several people who have used them for guns that no threaded option existed and they got it done. p7's, walther TPH's, nagant revolvers etc etc. All were extremely happy with their service.

That?s awesome. I just was approved also. 6 months to the day. I also did a trust.
I got a .30 can for my FAL. I went with a griffin armament explorer. Being it was my first NFA item I was thinking it was going to take the whole 8-14 months like they quoted me. I guess the E-file really speeds things up.
