2 boxes is HOARDING?... I am going to shoot those tomorrow... I don't see that as hoarding... and im totally fine with the 6 box limit. but to start limiting certain ammo more than others is BS..

Limits always start somewhere and move on from there.

I have not noticed the special limit, but I haven't seend .45 at a Walmart in months.

I've been able to get .22 .40, 9mm, .380 auto and .357sig lately, but no .45

There is a problem with all these douche bags buying it with the intent to screw fellow calgunners with a stupid *** price.

And thus the limits come into play. Blame those who hoarded ammo, had their friends buy it for them or tried reselling it at a ridiculous price. At least with the limit more people have the opportunity to have some ammo instead of no ammo. Hopefully supply will catch up and things will return to normal, more or less.

The clerk at the Walmart I frequent complained to me about guys coming in with their friends and buying up all the ammo 6 boxes at a time. Taking it out to their cars and coming back in for another 6 boxes.

I think the 2 box limit is designed to slow everyone down so some more people get the chance to buy at least some ammo.

It's a bubble. Just like oil futures, tech stocks, houses and whatever else, people are paying stupid inflated prices for ammo. Eventually the market will slow down and there will be a bunch of suckers left holding ammo worth about 75% or less than what they paid for it. We're all speculators at this point.

Truth is, the only reason I shop at walmart is because they sell ammo. Since they rarely have it in stock now, I have shopped their half as much. These limits are stupid, they need to get on the ball with their buyers and throw some weight around and start selling by the case.
