    Colt ban list

I don't remember the where to find the ban list ! I am no longer in California. I know colt ar 15s are band by name so are sp1 and the sporter . I also know m4, carbine marked lowers are ok. The colt match target competition rifle I'm not so sure about. Any one know where I can look this up? The doj site is not user friendly. I am wondering if I can ship this to a ca ffl.

Roberti roose is what you're looking for but the answer is that specific model is not banned

Look at the flowchart at the top of the page. It has a lost on the right of stuff banned by name / model.
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
      (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

As I recall, Colt Match Target on the receiver is banned by name.

I think only colt good to go in ca is the 6920. I may be wrong though about it being only I do know a lot we’re banned by name markings at the time I have an eagle armalite and it’s banned by name. It that it matters to me anymore but they basically got a list of ars at the time and cut them off.

Colt made a crapload of AR's in the 90's with a bunch of different names. H-Bar, Competition H-Bar, etc, etc. I doubt very many are on the list.

Page 2 is where the info is.

              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Think when ca did their sb23 they must have grabbed every companies list of models cause they had alot listed. But right about colt alot of different models for sure.

Ar-15, sporter(all), match target(all), and law enforcement 6920(all). Although there was a lawsuit about the (all) nomenclature and that was sucessfully defeated but ffl's might not touch it.
