I thought I would bring it up here since there are lots of experts with good experienced knowledge.
Ask him for the written proof.

Were you planning on carrying all 6 guns at the same time? Even if the policy is in fact true, that doesn't mean the other 4 guns have to boxed up and locked away. The policy only affects what you are carrying in public. Even so, if having 2 guns on you isn't getting the job done, you're doing something very wrong.

With 6 on my permit I was informed I can only carry the maximum of 2 as a carry on my body. This doesn't make sense, so does this mean since I am carrying 2 as concealed, my other 4 that is on the permit has to be boxed and locked when transporting to the range or where ever I'm traveling to?
Your way over thinking this; there would be no way to physically control 6 handguns at once. So if you going to the range just put the other 4 in a locking range bag and go about your business. No police officer is going stop you find out you have a CCW and then search your vehicle like your a criminal or something.

As long as you don't do anything stupid the police or issuing agency not going ever know you have them locked in your range bag. So no need to worry.

Most people that get ccw's pulled get them pulled because they do stupid things that draw attention to themselves and ends up involving law enforcement. Most other people just use common sense, fly under the radar and no have issues.

Yes I will get clarity and hopefully in writing in my next interview then share here for all to know too

Yes maybe he is informing his students of the new SB2 law for the limitation but no SB2 wording was mentioned though

No I don't plan on carrying all 6 permitted handguns as a concealed carry like Rambo, just 2 for the purposes of feeling safer because of malfunction or different self defense situations as a option. but yes in a robbery, there is a chance it can be discovered easier carrying 2. but to me, the pros outweighs the cons still.

I think I rather be over thinking it and ask questions because I don't want to jeopardize by carrying it wrong thinking I can carry them all, the way I thought. When I say carrying them all means, carrying the other 4 to the BLM range in a carry bag (slide back and unloaded of course), but yes i guess to be safe is to box and lock it which then I need to purchase more portable lock boxes.

Interesting policy. Are these limitations written on your permit?

In most cases, IA is the sheriff department. Most of us live in cities and if there is a defense situation, the LE won't necessarily be the IA so how would they know the limitations?

No extra mag is garbage. 10rd is just not enough. Some carry guns have less than 10rd.

As for multiple guns at the same time, i don't see the need to carry more than one. But if it's on the ccw, i'd probably have a second or third gun in my vehicle that's not locked.
