I have a G23 and though I don’t doubt the conversion barrel being a good solution, I plan on taking a different route. I’m either just buying/building a new complete upper (cut for optics) or most likely, I’ll buy a complete G19.

I know some IA’s are sticklers when it comes to modifications on a carry gun so a stock G19 is a sensible route for me. If I end up getting an optics ready slide down the road, I’ll be able to use it for either gun.

I've got a bunch of conversion barrels. G21 to 10mm, G35 to 9mm and 357 Sig, and G23 to 357 and 9mm, as well as 22 kits. They all work perfectly fine.

I have a G22 with a Lone Wolf barrel and 9mm mags...it works absolutely fine.

I purchased a KKM Match 40 - 9mm conversion and having FTE/FTF problems. I was advised to get a new 9mm extractor. Haven't got around to that yet.

I have read it’s not only the extractor, but the ejector should be swapped out as well. After a new barrel, ejector and extractor, one might as well just buy a damn Glock 19!

AlphaWolf conversion barrel for Glock 22 / Glock 31 to 9mm. Fits Gen1-4 Glocks. Best used with magazines intended for Glock 17's. Length: 4.49 in

Or, buy a lone wolf instead of spending the $600 and call it a day.
To each his own, but you'll see an abundance of people in this thread (including myself) that are having zero issues with lone wolf.

I haven't had to swap ejector or extractor on any of mine, including shooting 10mm from my G21.

I did have to send a 10mm barrel back to KKM though, as the chamber was too tight and it wasn't feeding. But that could have been an ammo issue instead of a barrel issue. They had me send a couple of the rounds I was loading back to them with the barrel, they got it back to me a few days later, and I haven't had a problem since. Heavy loaded 135 Noslers and 180 hard cast powder coated stuff that wouldn't seat fully. They'd work in my G20 (which got sold once I worked out the G21 10mm conversion) but not the KKM.

I have a glock 23 gen 4 with a Barsto conversion barrel in 9mm. My slide is milled by CHPWS and I have a Leupold DPP on it. Never had any issues such as FTF or FTE. No other changes done to the gun and using Glock 19 mags.

I generally shoot 147 grain Winchester Ranger JHP for work and have also used 115 grain FMJ for practice. No issues with either ammo.

Forgot to mention that I generally have a TLR-1HL on the gun.
