Has anybody ever done a PPT at the Cordelia Gun Exchange in Fairfield? Do you know if they charge $37 or is there a fee on top of that?

Don't know about them.

Under CA law a dealer may charge a $10 fee plus $37.19 for the DROS. Any other fee for a PPT would be against the law.

The above is true, however, they may have certain times when they will do them (usually non peak customer traffic hours).

I did a few with them probably back in 2018. No issues there. Nice location between Sac and the Bay.

Be prepared to wait, it’ll take an hour from my experiences. For a ppt ASP in Vacaville will be faster.

Plus 1 for ASP. In and out in a 1/2 hour.

I agree w the speed and efficiency of ASP - drove down from Sac to do a PPT there a couple weeks ago (seller's choice). Only drawback was they tacked on an additional $5 for the transfer fee, IIRC.

Just did a PPT there. I was the seller so didn?t pay much attention on the fees. But I did overhear it was $47.xx, so I think they didn?t charge anything extra. We went on a week day afternoon. There were a few people ahead of us buying stuff, so we had to wait awhile. The staff was nice and process took about 20 min once it started. The buyer picked the place and was able to talk them on the phone beforehand.
Overall I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this place.

ASP was fast, good midpoint as I was the seller.
Sorry did not check what they charged for PPT.
Forgot to ask if they release on undetermined.
Ask both ASP and CGE if they release on undetermined and use accordingly.
Makes it hard if they do not answer the phone.
If one is slower but will release than worth it.
