If limited to three calibers, which ones would you pick?

I know this a variation on the "What three guns" would you have if you can only have those.

BUT, What three calibers would you have if you were limited to three........

My choices and the rationale are as follows:


12 gauge, cause everyone needs a shotty for HD. It's proven as devistating close up. And you can load with game loads for game gett'n.

.223 for Intermediate range. It's cheaper than .308 and can still reach out in this urban environment.

9mm for handgun. Again, still effective, though I prefer .45, but cheap.

All three tools are covered by the above calibers. Handgun, rifle, shotgun.

Now your choices..............??
