neutral feedback is definitely appropriate, it documents the flakes. As always, if you receive unwarranted retaliatory feedback contact a mod to remedy it.If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

People can overcome an oopsie or two of neutral feedback, but if it isn't documented then we get cases where someone finally raises the issue in a venting thread, suddenly a bunch of me toos come out of the woodwork. Documentation takes care of that.
I don't think waiting 3 months ot leave feedback is appropriate or fair to the person you are rating. If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

Personally, Ive had nothing but the best transactions here and met some great people along the way. Sorry to hear about bad deals but I agree with AJAX there's always two sides to the story or things change. I look for the number of positives my self.Comment

I haven't had any problems either, and most transactions have been fun and interesting. BUT if I got an "I'll take it" and got stiffed, I would certainly leave feedback. The phrase is unambiguous, and I never use it unless I am willing to pay and go through hell and high water to complete the deal. If someone uses it to get to the head of the line and bails, it is a waste of time, and possibly money.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

The problem is, and this is just my opinion, it appears when they chime in I'll take it. Some are using it to grab it before anyone else can, then if they decide they can't swing it financially, or decide they really don't want it, they back out.
It really pisses me off, I have had more than one person here do this. I am slow to leave negative feedback, but if it happens again, I am going to warn others about this kind of poor behavior.Last edited by PatriotnMore; 07-23-2009, 11:06 AM."If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions."

PLEASE do so. Like I said, those three words only mean one thing, and should only be typed after price, location, method of delivery, condition, pics, etc etc ETC are figured out.I am going to warn others about this kind of poor behavior.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

Netural feedback is if the person and you decide that the deal isn't a go imo. Negative is when someone flakes on you after they said I'll take it. The best is when they start to send you PMs all pissed off for giving them neg feedback
I just send them a PM and tell them you should have NOT flaked after you said I'll take it. You deserve neg feedback because you are a FLAKER whose word isn't good. If you have a problem contact a mod about it.

OK, that makes sense, I'll do that.

It seems folks are using the "I'll Take It" when they should use "PM Sent"
Folks should only use "I'll Take It" if you got the cash and agree to the terms set by the seller... just my .02
I have had great luck with my dealing so far and hope my good luck continues!Comment

One of the problems with leaving negative is the jackball you leave the feedback for then blasts you with a retaliatory negative (see my feedback). I take a lot of pride in my customer service and my feedback reflects the fact that I am a good guy to deal with. When someone does something like the retaliatory blast it is very disheartening and makes one reluctantant to leave any further negative for the flakes. The satisfaction of a job well done is to be the one who has done it

Sometimes stuff happens that will prevent a sale from happening that is beyond ones control. That said, if you just decide that you now don't want it, then neutral feedback is appropriate. If it happens with the same person a second time, a timeout from the FS section by the mods should be handed down.Comment
